Microassembly / Millimeterwave Technician

Spacek Labs Inc. is looking for an assembly and test technician to build microwave and millimeter wave amplifiers.

Candidate must be good with their hands and have experience working with small, delicate parts which require work under a microscope. Candidate must have experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources and power meters.
They should demonstrate accuracy and consistency in their work and a desire to work on new things, as we build a wide variety of products in smaller quantities.
Experience required in wirebonding and assembly of microwave/millimeter-wave components. Responsibilities include assembling and testing microwave and mm-wave amplifiers, determining test set-up configurations, recording and analyzing test data.
Notes: The specific bonder is a thermosonic manual wedge bonder using .0007 diameter gold wire.
An approximate time division of tasks for this assembler/technician is
50% assembling, 25% wirebonding and 25% testing.
